My latest work has been creating animated social posts and digital ads for SDG&E. Previously, I elevated digital creative for online marketplace listings such as Amazon, and the TCP Global company websites. Creating mini-infographics for those products, which are mobile friendly, resulted in increased product sales.
I am knowledgeable and experienced with email campaigns, and have worked extensively with Campaign Monitor, and have also used iContact and Campaign Enterprise. In addition to graphics and design, my contributions include writing copy and preparing recipient lists. At SDG&E, I have developed custom email layouts, hero images for desktop and mobile as part of a greater brand guideline update.
I’ve created content for social posts and graphics for several years, having become familiar with most platforms, including ads for Facebook and Instagram.

As a member of SDG&E’s Creative Services Team, I’ve completed a variety of print projects including fact sheets, direct mail, posters, show signage and more.
As part of a cohesive trade show strategy for Steren Electronics, I created multi-page brochures and sell sheets for takeaways and direct mail. I also have experience with single page, half or tri-fold brochures, fliers, and a variety of print specifications, sizes, paper, and finishes.
I completed many print collateral projects during my time with Victory Outreach including posters, brochures, event tickets, programs, media covers, bookmarks, flyers and t-shirts. I also had the opportunity to work on a few annual calendars, which are always great fun.
At the core of brand identity is logo design. I have solid experience and I find that nailing a logo for a client is most rewarding. Having a solid logo to build upon is a fundamental requirement to pulling together a cohesive brand identity strategy. Bring me your logo design challenges, I won’t disappoint!
My current role is allowing for more infographic creation, which is just fine by me. They’re really fun to do!

My time at SDG&E has proven a continuation of large format projects. Some of my favorite projects were designing and coordinating the clean energy building wrap and clean transportation Chevy Bolt vehicle wrap. I have truly enjoyed these large, sometimes challenging pieces. I’m always on the lookout for a project that lets me design big, like these retail wall decals, wall wrap and box truck vehicle wraps
I’ve had the opportunity to create boxes, blister packages, labels, hang tags. I hope there is more to come in this category, I really enjoy this type of design.
My experience with web design and graphics extends the full breadth of my professional career. I’ve worked on a variety of projects, and many of the sites I worked on years ago are updated multiple times over now that mobile first design is a must. It’s a constant learning process in a dynamic environment.
Updating this website and the sister site more than doubled the projected revenue for the company.
Postcards and business card sized hand outs. I’m familiar with all the standard sizes for post cards, rack cards, envelopes, business cards, and paper stock.

A high point in my career was updating all the retail signage at every Price Self Storage location. This work is near and dear to my heart, because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as transforming something dated and stale into something bright and fresh. The signs are acrylic die cut mounted on aluminum stand-offs, which I have found to be an affordable yet elegant signage solution.
Keeping in the vein of affordability, I have extensive experience designing exterior perforated window vinyl. It’s a great way to effectively draw attention to your store front without spending a ton of money. The perforation allows you to see out the window from the inside, while having the benefit of a colorful graphic from the street side. I’ve noticed that when printed correctly and with proper UV coating, this material can be quite durable.
There’s something uniquely fun in planning, preparing and designing graphics for trade show booths. In these examples, I worked closely with marketing team members and trade show booth companies to prepare impactful signage for major electronics events such as SCTE and Dish Summit.
Recent work for SDG&E includes two placements around sustainability in prominent San Diego publications. The topic of sustainability is near and dear to my heart, so these were great fun to work on.
When I was the senior designer for all things Omni Cheer and Campus Team Wear, we did a lot of magazine ads. I assisted with planning, selection of models and outfits, and attended all photo shoots, and we got the shots we wanted for both catalogs and magazine ads. These cute, fun, placements were designed for American Cheerleader magazine.
Big bold banners. They’re really a lot of fun to create. At Price Self Storage, we began trending towards aluminum grip frames, which offers a clean look and easy updates. I’ve worked on banners of all sizes, and managed projects from design to installation.
There aren’t a lot of examples here, but I really honed my skills with layout tools while working on business to consumer cheerleader apparel catalogs, then later expanded upon that experience working on business to business electronics component and accessory catalogs. I have extensive experience from soup to nuts with catalogs, including coordinating professional photo shoots, in house product photography, and production work like color correcting, preparing images for print, and press checks.
Just as with package design, there’s specific knowledge and skill needed to compose and prepare a work for silk screening. Happily, I can say that I can do that, and it’s a fun type of design for sure. You have to learn all about color separation or your printer is going to kick your artwork back into your lap. In addition to tee screens, some of the work represented here are designs that were used in the Omni Cheer and Campus Team Wear lines, including imprints for shorts and skirts. I applied this knowledge to the shirt designs created for Victory Outreach International. Like I said, designing tees is always fun.
